Returns & Refunds Policy

All windows supplied by Glazing Quoter are manufactured to order to your exact specified dimensions. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

1. Made to Order — No Returns

Because every window is custom manufactured to your specified size and specification, we are unable to accept returns or offer refunds for windows ordered in the wrong size, wrong specification, or where you have changed your mind. This is standard industry practice for bespoke made-to-measure products.

We strongly recommend double-checking all measurements before placing your order. Please refer to our How to Measure guide for assistance.

2. Delivery — Kerbside Only

All deliveries are kerbside only. Our driver will deliver your windows to the nearest safe and accessible point outside your property (driveway, pavement, or building entrance). The customer is responsible for moving windows inside the property. We do not carry windows into buildings, up stairs, or through internal doorways.

Please ensure someone is present to receive and check the delivery. If nobody is available, we may leave windows at a safe kerbside location or rearrange delivery at an additional charge.

3. Inspection & Damage

You must inspect all windows carefully at the time of delivery, before signing the delivery receipt. This is critical — once you sign for the delivery, the goods are deemed accepted.

• Visible damage (scratches, chips, cracks, broken glass, frame damage) must be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. Refuse to sign for damaged items and contact us immediately.
• Concealed defects (sealed unit failure, hardware defects not visible externally) must be reported within 24 hours of delivery by emailing info@glazingquoter.co.uk with clear photographs of the defect.
• Damage reported after signing without notation on the delivery receipt, or after the 24-hour concealed defect period, will not be accepted.

If damage is confirmed as a transit or manufacturing fault, we will provide a replacement free of charge.

4. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled without charge within 24 hours of order confirmation, provided manufacturing has not commenced. After this period, cancellations may be subject to a charge to cover materials and manufacturing costs already incurred. Once manufacturing is complete, orders cannot be cancelled.

5. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable UK legislation. However, made-to-order goods are exempt from the standard 14-day distance selling return period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
